Using Ordeo
Wallets that work with Ordeo on Robinhood Chain
Any wallet that connects to Robinhood Chain and signs the same message the same way every time can hold notes.
Connecting
The connect dialog lists wallets detected in your browser, offers WalletConnect for wallets on another device, and suggests wallets to install. When you connect, Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663) is added to your wallet if it is missing.
Phantom is shown but disabled, because it cannot add Robinhood Chain.
The signing requirement
Your note keys come from your wallet’s signature over a fixed message. That only works if the wallet gives the same signature every time. Most software wallets do. Some hardware wallets and smart contract wallets do not.
On your first sign-in, the app requests the signature two times and checks that both are identical. If they differ, the app stops and that wallet cannot be used, because your keys would be different next time.
Signing safely
What you sign follows the Sign-In with Ethereum format and is bound to ordeo.tech. Should a different site request that signature, your wallet ought to warn you that the domain does not match. Refuse: a site with that signature could derive your keys. A passphrase adds a second factor that the signature alone does not give away.
Several wallets
Each wallet, and each passphrase, gives its own keys and its own notes. To move value between them, send privately from one to the other’s private address.
