Basics
What is Ordeo?
A privacy token on Robinhood Chain. $ORDEO is an ordinary ERC-20 anyone can trade, plus a pool where you can hold it in encrypted notes that only you can open. Shielded ORDEO earns holder yield from trading fees.
How does Ordeo work?
Shielding turns ORDEO into a note, a hash on chain whose contents only your keys can read. To spend, your browser makes a zero-knowledge proof that you own a note without saying which one. Creator fees from ORDEO trades buy ORDEO for the vault, so each share, and every note with it, gains value. See Key concepts.
Which network is Ordeo on?
Robinhood Chain mainnet, chain id 4663. The app adds it to your wallet when you connect.
How do I buy $ORDEO?
Once launched, ORDEO trades on the Pons launchpad. In the app you can buy with ETH and get it shielded in the same step. See Buy. Until launch, the contract address on this site is a placeholder and buying is practice only.
Privacy
Is my ORDEO private automatically?
No. ORDEO in a wallet is public like any token. Shielding it, or buying it through the app, is what makes it private, and it earns only while it stays shielded. See Shield and unshield.
Who pays gas?
For sales, unshields and private sends, the bundler pays the gas and you pay it a flat ORDEO fee from your notes. If you submit from your own wallet, you pay gas in ETH and your address is visible. Buys, shields and key registration are always paid from your wallet in ETH.
Can I send ORDEO to an exchange?
Exchanges see ordinary ORDEO transfers, not notes. Unshield or sell to the address you want; the unshield shows that address and the amount. Do not paste an exchange’s address as a private recipient, since it has no note keys to open what you send.
Control and safety
Can anyone freeze my notes?
No. The contracts have no owner, no admin, no pause and no upgrade. A bundler can refuse to submit, but you can always submit yourself. The Pons owner could redirect the creator fee after a public three-day timelock; that would stop new yield, but it cannot touch notes or the vault.
My wallet is gone. What now?
Your note keys come from your wallet’s signature. If you can restore the wallet, for example from its seed phrase, you get the same keys and the same notes back. If the wallet is gone for good, or you forget the passphrase you added, the notes cannot be spent by anyone.
Do my notes work on a second device?
Yes. Connect the same wallet, sign the same message and enter the same passphrase if you used one. The keys come out identical, and the app locates your notes on chain again. There is nothing to back up or export.
Why two signatures on first use?
To check that your wallet gives the same signature every time. If it did not, your keys would change and your notes would be lost. Wallets that fail the check cannot be used. See Wallets.
Yield and fees
Why is my balance rising without any action?
ORDEO notes hold vault shares. Creator fees, pool fees and bundler fees all end up as ORDEO donations to the vault, and each one makes a share worth more ORDEO. Your note keeps the same shares, so its ORDEO value rises. Only trades that pay the Pons creator fee feed this. See Balance.
Does Ordeo pay the team?
Yes. The splitter sends 50% of everything it receives to the team and 50% to the holders’ side. That covers the Pons creator share and the pool’s ETH fees. Pool fees paid in ORDEO stay in the vault for holders. See Fees.
