Using Ordeo
Fees in Ordeo: what you pay and where each fee goes
Fees come in three kinds: the Pons fee on trades, the pool’s own fees, and the bundler’s flat fee. Most of them end up with shielded holders.
The Pons fee on trades
Each trade on the Pons curve or pool carries a fee. Its creator share goes out to the token’s creator fee recipient; for ORDEO, that is OrdeoYieldSplit. The exact rates are fixed by Pons at launch; the token page shows them once the token exists.
Pool fees
| Fee | Proposed value | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Shield | 0.10% | ORDEO: the vault. ETH: the splitter. |
| Private transfer | 0.10% of value sent to another key | ORDEO: the vault. ETH: the splitter. |
| Unshield | Flat 0.0001 ETH or 10 ORDEO | ORDEO: the vault. ETH: the splitter. |
These are the values proposed for deployment. The owner confirms them before deploying and they cannot be changed after. The code refuses any rate above 5%. Sending to your own keys, such as change, pays no transfer fee.
The bundler fee
When a bundler submits for you, it pays the gas and you pay it a flat ORDEO amount from your notes. The fee is at least 25 ORDEO, or more if gas is expensive, valued at a slow reference price rather than the price of the moment. By default the bundler donates the ORDEO it earns to the vault. If you submit from your own wallet instead, you pay gas in ETH and no bundler fee.
Where the splitter’s ETH goes
The splitter divides everything 50% to the team and 50% to the holders’ side. The harvester spends the holders’ half on ORDEO, which it donates to the vault, and on keeping the bundler’s gas topped up. The splitter has no setting to change the split.
Gas
Robinhood Chain gas is cheap. A private send costs a fraction of a cent to a few cents of ETH depending on the gas price, and the bundler covers it when it submits. Buys, shields and registrations go out from your own wallet, which means their gas is paid by you in ETH.
